The New Karolinska Solna Administration
To implement the decisions taken by the Stockholm County Council, an independent organization was established.
Independence was decided upon to create the best possible conditions for change.
The task of creating a world-leading university hospital was given to Professor Lennart Persson M.D., Ph.D.
Today, the New Karolinska Solna-Administration counts approximately 35 persons from a wide range of professional specialties. Architects, construction engineers, medical doctors, nurses, and finance are represented.
